CBS, 5/12 – Ray, series hero, throws a bachelor party for his brother. Countless sex jokes include talk of strippers and nudity. There are also frequent jokes about booze. The bride’s self-righteous father and brother come to the party.

The brother announces condescendingly, “I’m going to make an effort [to get along] because I’m a Christian!” Then he proceeds to evoke distrust between Ray and Robert.

CBS, 5/18 – Child sexual abuse is the subject of one joke in this episode. Other jokes focus on bondage and homosexuality.

Doug and Carrie, series stars, use twin beds until their new bed is delivered. One night, Doug crawls in his wife’s bed and says, “This is great. I feel like it’s lights out at the orphanage and you’re the new girl!”

NBC, 5/21 – This drama ran three episodes back-to-back on May 21, the last two of them dealing with sexual themes. At 8 p.m., the episode has a story line in which one homosexual lover killed his partner.
The 9 p.m. episode speculated on the homosexuality of a comedian who dropped his adopted baby from a hotel window. The baby died. The sordid tale follows the story to the point at which the man is identified as a pedophile. Parents who sold their young son to the man are also featured.
