May 2021North Korea has long been one of the globe’s most repressed nations, living under the hammer of a totalitarian regime. Now a radio station built by Far East Broadcasting Company (FEBC) in October 2020 covers North Korea with the gospel broadcast from the island of Daebu, South Korea.

In the current FEBC newsletter, president Ed Cannon acknowledged the negatives and challenges of COVID-19, but he said, “As a result, we launched new media platforms focusing on unchurched youth, perfected new streaming and podcast approaches, [and] strengthened relationships with local churches.”

After 75 years of ministry, FEBC now carries the gospel to 50 countries in 141 languages, 365 days a year.
