AFA, INSP partner in new TV series

DOCUMENTARIES WILL FOCUS ON BIAS AGAINST CHRISTIANS IN AMERICA

AFA is excited to announce its involvement with a new television series designed to promote activism and create voter awareness among viewers.

Speechless  …  Silencing the Christians is an original production of The Inspiration Networks (INSP) in partnership with the AFA. It focuses on the loss of freedoms and liberties forced upon Christians by current attempts to pass hate crime legislation and other discriminatory measures and the movement to use political correctness to criminalize expression.

The U.S. Constitution guarantees freedom of speech and other basic liberties and the equal protection of those freedoms for all citizens, not only for select groups deemed to be “protected classes” by liberal causes. Therefore, INSP and AFA are joining forces in an attempt to expose the liberal agenda that seems to be taking precedence over the foundational laws of America.

Because a crucial election is fast approaching, the series was created to sound an alarm about the mounting censorship of Christians in our culture.

“It’s time for everybody to know what’s happening to Christians in America,” said the Rev. Don Wildmon, founder and chairman of AFA. “There will be no question about our country’s intolerance of Christians after watching this series.”

Speechless takes viewers into the communities of America and shows them the real struggles Christians face on a daily basis.

The series will air as 13 half-hour episodes on three different networks beginning in March. It will debut on INSP Saturday, March 1, at 8:30 p.m. (EST) and i-Lifetv (digital) Friday, March 7, at 9:30 p.m. (EST). Speechless will also air on the Inspiration Network International which broadcasts in Europe, the Middle East and northern Africa.

In February, AFA plans to launch a Web site for the series. The site, www.silencingchristians.com, will contain trailers and brief descriptions for each episode, a link to the program’s schedule, and a place for visitors to take action on the issues addressed in the series. AFA will also offer each episode of Speechless on a DVD which can be ordered from the Web site. The episodes can also be viewed live at the Web site.

Renowned author and political commentator Janet Parshall hosts Speechless … Silencing the Christians, which aims to highlight abuses against Christians and help to empower them to speak out to ensure the protection of their right to speak the Word.

“If you haven’t had a reason to speak out,” Wildmon said, “you will now.”
