October 2021For more than a decade, One News Now has been the online home for the American Family Radio news team. In mid-August, AFA re-branded the news website as AFN.net and launched a redesigned website and app.

“The name and the look are updated,” said AFR news director Fred Jackson, but the focus is still to deliver current and breaking news from a Christian perspective along with relevant op-eds and national news.”

As announced in AFA Journal last month, the magazine is also changing its name to The Stand in January to increase monthly coverage and broaden its appeal both online and in print. The Stand will exist in both print and online. (See below.)

“These updates will enhance our efforts to transform culture and encourage families with AFR radio news, in-depth online features, and original print articles on issues you care about,” said Walker Wildmon, AFA vice president of operations.
