November-December 2006 – Despite the request of 44 pro-family groups that Ford Motor Company remain neutral in the battle over homosexual marriage, the automaker continues to escalate its support of the gay agenda.

Ford ran a full-page ad in the latest issue of The Advocate, a homosexual publication. In its October 24 issue, the magazine heavily promoted Shortbus, a new film containing graphic homosexual sex.

Magazines such as The Advocate frequently run articles that are openly hostile to people of faith and promote the political agenda of gay activists.

Ford’s increasing propensity to advertise in such publications was one of the things that spurred AFA to call for a boycott of the company.

The automaker had told AFA that it would pull its advertising support for homosexual media but then reneged on the agreement after a handful of homosexual leaders confronted Ford.

AFA Chairman Don Wildmon said, “Ford’s actions have made it perfectly clear that the company has no intentions of ending its support for the homosexual agenda, regardless of the economic loss to the company.”

Wildmon noted that Ford has redefined the family to include homosexual marriage; has given hundreds of thousands of dollars to support homosexual groups; forces employees to attend “diversity” training in order to promote the acceptance of homosexuality; sponsors Gay Pride Day parades; and has given thousands of dollars to support homosexual magazines.

Ford brands include Ford cars and trucks, Mercury, Lincoln, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar, and Land Rover.
