April 1996 – Procter & Gamble and McDonald’s were the top two promoters of the homosexual agenda on prime-time television, according to a recently published report by AFA.

Other top sponsors of programs which pushed the homosexual agenda cited by AFA includedWarner-Lambert, Johnson & Johnson, PepsiCo, General Motors, Time, Inc., Unilever, Grand Met and Walt Disney Company.

The monitoring covered a period from August 1, 1995, through January 31, 1996. Advertisers were scored on the total number of units run on monitored programs. A unit consists of one 30-second commercial.

Previous ranking numbers are given for those advertisers who appeared in the  July 1, 1994, through July 19, 1995, monitoring period. These advertisers have continued their promotion of the homosexual lifestyle over an extended period of time and obviously feel it is appropriate.

The networks and advertisers have begun aggressively pushing the homosexual agenda during the past several months, according to AFA president Donald E. Wildmon. “What we are seeing is an intentional attempt by the networks to shape attitudes in our society so that the homosexual lifestyle will be accepted as normal. The companies listed feel they should use their advertising dollars to help promote the homosexual agenda,” Wildmon said.
