April 2015 – At press time, AFA activists had filed 23,697 indecency complaints with the Federal Communications Commission, and the complaints were continuing to pour in. AFA special projects director Randy Sharp said, “These complaints followed our AFA Action Alert about the February 8 episode of Fox network’s Family Guy, which used statutory rape as its main source of humor.”

On another issue, Sharp said more than 59,000 AFA activists have committed to prayer support for Barronelle Stutzman (photo above), a Seattle, Washington, florist who is the victim of a liberal judge’s ruling that she can not legally decline to do work for a same-sex wedding, even though it violates her Christian faith.

“At AFA, we are grateful for Christians who are willing to take a stand on these issues, and for our friends who support them in every way they can,” said Sharp. “And we know the power of prayer.”
