April 2015 – Boy Scouts of America has seen diminishing membership since its decision to allow homosexuals as members. In the latest reporting period, there was a drop of 7% in the Boy Scouts and 14% in Cub Scouts. Meanwhile, Trail Life USA finished 2014 with 534 troops chartered in 48 states and just under 20,000 members. Executive director Mark Hancock said, “I feel like we’ve seen some tremendous growth for an organization that is just a year old.”
