June 2015 – Conservative Book Club has launched an alternative to the New York Times bestseller list. The CBC list is based on hard data of actual sales without influence from liberal media.

“There have been repeated times where certain books we know are outselling books on the New York Times bestseller list – political non-fiction in particular – are not being ranked appropriately,” explained Christopher Malgisi, CBC editor.

The CBC list is updated weekly. Recently topping the list were American Sniper: The Autobiography by Chris Kyle, Killing Patton by Bill O’Reilly, and Killing Jesus by Bill O’Reilly.

The non-fiction titles ranking high on this list indicate a trend in Christian book sales. Non-fiction sales increased by 12% in 2014, while Christian fiction sales dropped by 15%. Only psychological/horror books had a greater decrease (26%). However, the increase for religious non-fiction, including Bibles, was exceeded only by self-help books (15%) and graphic novels (13%).
