December 2016 – Many people take donations to the Salvation Army during the Christmas season. But one person in Roseville, California, decided to take from the SA, breaking into a storage shed filled with coats, backpacks, toys, and other items for families’ Christmas needs.
Ten-year-old James Barnes, a volunteer at the SA, said, “I’m not sure why someone would take something knowing it’s for children. It’s small coats and toys. But even bad people, they need stuff too.”
Locals are planning toy and coat drives to replace the stolen goods.
