December 2016 – AFA’s OneMillionMoms.com continues to find success in impacting television programming. One recent campaign resulted in VTech and IHOP pulling their ads from TV Land’s Impastor series. Corporate spokesmen thanked 1MM for bringing it to their attention.
1MM director Monica Cole said the TV Land series features Buddy Dobbs, a gambling, pot-smoking slacker on the run from a loan shark. Dobbs steals a man’s identity and poses as the new gay pastor in a small town.
“We’re encouraged to see that moms who speak up can make a difference,” said AFA VP Ed Vitagliano.
