July 2021 – The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is attempting to keep believers from reading God’s Word. Recently, the government removed online Christian-based materials to suppress the church and focus on its communist agenda. The CCP pulled the Bible app from app stores and deleted social media accounts and chats centered around Christianity. Currently, the only way for Chinese Christians to purchase a digital Bible is through a virtual private network (VPN).
