July 2021 – COVID-19 did not stop Operation Christmas Child (OCC) from sharing the love of Christ with children in need. While many charities remained under lockdown last year, OCC continued to gather volunteers and fulfill its mission. In 2020, the ministry sent 9.1 million shoeboxes around the world and presented the gospel to recipients. However, OCC’s biggest success of the year was rejoicing over 1.3 million decisions made for Christ.
“God used this year to strengthen His church and lay a strong foundation for future ministry,” said one OCC leader. “Although we were apart, we were more unified than ever.”
