November 2014 – AFA has earned an “exceptional” designation from Charity Navigator, a leading independent charity evaluator that helps donors make sound giving decisions by evaluating charities’ financial health and accountability and transparency. For the second year in a row, AFA has earned a four-out-of-possible-four-star rating, making AFA one of only 19% of charities rated by Charity Navigator to earn the top rating for two consecutive years.
