November 2014 – The construction of an 8,000 square foot abortion facility in New Orleans, Louisiana, came to a halt in June. Planned Parenthood, owner of the partially built structure, hired an unlicensed contractor who was fined by the state board of contractors and lost a second contractor who had contracted under a false name.

According to Louisiana Right to Life Federation, pro-lifers have been busy informing the community that the building is not simply a “medical office building” as described in the contract, but rather a full-scale abortion facility.

New Orleans local news stations reported that the project had been delayed since July because of fines. As of mid-September, construction had not resumed.
