December 2015 – Samaritan’s Purse president Franklin Graham recently told AFA Journal, “The most important thing you put in a box is prayer.” Graham referred to Christmas gift boxes distributed by SP’s Operation Christmas Child to needy children around the world. But he added that The Greatest Journey, a Bible study to disciple children, “may be the best thing we have ever done.” The study is to be led by local pastors at churches where OCC distributes Christmas boxes.
However, OCC is still working to generate funding to put this gospel tool in every kid’s gift box. AFA will host a two-day appeal November 30-December 1 on American Family Radio.
