December 2015 – In response to recent situations in school districts across Wisconsin where female privacy was violated in gender-neutral public bathrooms, Representative Jesse Kremer (R-Kewaskum) and Senator Stephen Nass (R-Whitewater) authored a bill that would reinforce that gender specific bathrooms and locker facilities not be used by persons of the opposite biological gender.
Kremer said in a statement, “The bill is first and foremost to keep our kids safe.”
