May 2015 – Ed Vitagliano, 18-year veteran of the AFA Journal staff, has been named AFA executive vice president. In this new role, he will fulfill administrative duties and represent AFA in various venues. He will continue to write features for the AFA Journal as his schedule allows. Vitagliano replaces Buddy Smith, who is now AFA senior vice president, a newly created position.
“I am both honored and humbled by the opportunity,” Vitagliano said. “I look forward to serving AFA and our constituents in new ways.”
