A practical short list is compiled in a January commentary by Melissa Henson, PTC director of grassroots activism and advocacy. Henson’s helps for parents include:
▶ Watch, listen, or play with your kids. ▶ Cut back screen time on all devices. ▶ Make it count – allow only positive screen time. ▶ Support quality programming. ▶ Make your voice count – talk back to media marketers.
