February 2017 – The pronoun “ze” has been the preferred pronoun in the transgendered community for years. However, it has not been embraced by culture. Oxford University in Oxford, England, is attempting to speed up the English culture’s embracement of the term by telling students to use the gender-neutral pronoun.
In the school’s behavior code, it is an offense to use the wrong pronoun to refer to a person. Nearby Cambridge University is following suit.
