May 2019 – Seventy percent of American teens say that anxiety and depression are major problems among their peers. That concern cuts across gender, race, and socio-economic lines.
But those were not the only issues voiced by the 920 young people interviewed by Pew Research. Others include bullying, drug addiction, alcohol consumption, poverty, teen pregnancy, and gangs.
