March 2020 – After a five-month battle, Child Protective Services (CPS) has dropped its case against Texas homeschooling parents Ashley and Daniel Pardo.
In June, the Pardo’s four-year-old son, Drake, was removed from the family’s home by CPS on the allegation that the couple sought unnecessary medical treatment for him.
Based on a report from a doctor who had never seen or met Drake, CPS jumped into action and removed him from the home without ever consulting Drake’s doctor. On December 3, Judge Tracy Gray signed an order ending the case. Drake came home for good.
“God has made sure that we had the love and support we needed to get through this,” said Ashley Pardo. “We are thankful to have our son home.”
