March 2020Ohio State University won the Big Ten Conference Championship, defeating Wisconsin 34-21 on December 7, but Tyler Gordon felt like the big winner. He was stunned when he won Dr Pepper’s $100,000 tuition grand prize at halftime. Stunned but not speechless, Gordon quickly used his brief time on the big stage to share the gospel.

Gordon, a West Virginia University law student, was one of four students selected to compete by seeing who could throw the most footballs into a giant Dr Pepper can in 30 seconds.

He later said, “I truly believe that God answered my prayers and allowed me to win so that He could use me in that moment to be a witness and share the gospel. I never want to be ashamed of my faith.”
