December 2021 – After almost four decades as AFA Journal, this is the last issue of the magazine by that name. Starting with the January/February 2022 issue, AFA Journal will change its name to The Stand as part of a merger with AFA’s blog (already called The Stand), and Engage, AFA’s ministry to young adults.
“It’s exciting that we are moving toward coordinating our efforts,” said Randall Murphree, AFA Journal editor of over 38 years. “I am confident it will better serve our readers.”
Those who currently receive the monthly AFA Journal will continue receiving the magazine. It will just have a new name on the cover – The Stand.
