April 2014 – Protecting babies tending up
Statistics from the Guttmacher Institute reveal that more abortion restrictions were passed from 2011 to 2013 than in the previous decade. While the most abortion restrictions were passed in 2011, 2013 was a close second with 22 states enacting a total of 70 abortion restrictions.

When pro-aborts say …
Them: It’s a religious issue.
You: It’s about protecting life.

Them: It’s a matter of choice.
You: Right – keep the baby or offer it for adoption.

Them: It’s a woman’s choice and right to decide what she does with her body.
You: A baby’s DNA differentiates it as a human being distinct from the mother. A decision on abortion affects another’s life, not just a woman’s own body.

To be honest …
Common reasons cited why legalized abortion is necessary include health of the mother, health of the baby, rape and incest. However, according to blogger Darrell Cheney, writing for the blaze.com, the real reasons people give for getting abortions are, “a baby would interfere with my life,” “can’t afford a baby,” “don’t want to be a single mother,” “having relationship problems” and “I don’t want anyone to know I’m pregnant.”

Walk for Life
“Walk for Life” took place in Washington, D.C., on January 22, marking the anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling legalizing abortion in 1972. Thousands of pro-life activists also marched in San Francisco, a city known for its left-wing politics.
