May 2017 – Prison Fellowship, the nation’s largest outreach to prisoners, former prisoners, and their families, is partnering with Celebrate Recovery to provide addiction-recovery programs in 75 prisons in 22 states.

Statistics reveal that 50% of incarcerated individuals are convicted of drug offenses. If not helped, the likelihood of their being arrested again after release is 77%.

“At the heart of both Prison Fellowship and Celebrate Recovery is a desire to give people a second chance and help those in the hardest struggle of their lives experience lasting change through the life-changing message of Christ,” said John Baker, founder of Celebrate Recovery.
