AFA initiatives, Christian activism, news briefs

April 2018 – AFA’s One Million Moms community continues to tackle a variety of issues, informing and encouraging concerned mothers (and friends) to speak up against immorality as promoted in popular culture. For example, 1MM recently informed members that Scholastic Inc., the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books, is openly promoting the LGBTQ agenda (more here).

“Our activist moms are amazing,” says 1MM director Monica Cole. Over recent months, 1MM urged moms to protest to television advertisers on (1) the anti-Christian Impastor series (now cancelled); (2) the anti-decency Dating Naked series (cancelled); and (3) ABC’s anti-family The Real O’Neals series (cancelled).

“When you give mothers the information, they are a force to be reckoned with!” exclaimed Cole. For more information, visit onemillionmoms.com.
