AFA initiatives, Christian activism, news briefs

December 2019Meridy Leeper was shocked when she realized her seven-year-old was taught how to commit suicide on YouTube Kids. Realizing the child’s recent anxiety attack came after she had watched YouTube, Leeper began to worry. The next day, her daughter came home from school with a drawing of herself hanging in a noose.

The how-to video, demonstrated by a character named Filthy Frank, encouraged children to “end it.”

Leeder urges other parents, “Keep your children away from these things.” She continues, “I never thought something as ‘innocent’ as kids YouTube would have these subliminal messages.”, 2/25/19
