October 2019 – Darwinian evolution may be the assumptive explanation in academia and the media for the origins of human life, but a significant percentage of Americans disagree.
In a June Gallup survey of 1,015 adults, 40% said they believe “God created human beings pretty much in their present form at one time within the last 10,000 years or so.” Another 33% believe “human beings have developed over millions of years from less advanced forms of life, but God guided this process.”
Only 22% believe “human beings have developed over millions of years from less advanced forms of life, but God had no part in this process.”
