January-February 2020 – Shared Hope International (SHI) strives to protect children from the dangers of human trafficking. Many children are lured into the trafficking lifestyle through Internet access.
SHI is attempting to teach parents and mentors how dangerous online activity can be. Through its Internet safety resources, SHI encourages parents to monitor children’s online activities. SHI also provides regularly updated information about dangerous apps, video games, and sexting. (See related story here.)
