Virginia couple’s plea for mothers to reject abortion goes viral

January-February 2020 – In January 2019, Blake and Sarah Thomas’s Facebook post went viral after the couple urged expectant women to choose life instead of abortion. The couple said they would adopt the baby of a pregnant woman if she needed to find the baby a home. Through the attention garnered from the post, they had the opportunity to minister to dozens of women who decided to keep their babies after seeing the Thomases’ message.
“I’m Facebook friends with many of the mothers [who] contacted me back last January,” Sarah Thomas said. “My Facebook is covered with baby pictures. That makes me happy!”
Their hopes of adopting continue today, as the couple is in the process of adopting an 11-year-old boy from Bulgaria.
