July 2020 – According to a Pew Research Center survey conducted in early February, 49% of Americans versus 68% of Christians believe the Bible should have at least “some” or a “great deal” of influence on U.S. laws.
However, two-thirds of Jews and over three-quarters of those with no religious affiliation say the Bible should hold little to no influence.
