October 2020With dreams of someday becoming a U.S. Navy SEAL, fourth-grader Greyson Winfield wanted to help veterans and others. With his father, Greg, and brother, Garrett, the family began Helping Footprint, an organization to serve local veterans.

“Helping Footprint – he came up with [that name] pretty much on his own,” said Greg. “Me and [his] mom helped him with it a little bit. But, he’s a pretty amazing kid.”

Based in South Carolina, Greyson continues to mow yards for veterans, collect gift cards for the needy, prepare meals, and serve others.
