September 2020CityXGuide.com, an online platform used to promote prostitution and sex trafficking, has been seized, and its owner, Wilhan Martono, has been charged in a 28-count federal indictment. He was arrested on June 17 by Homeland Security Investigations and the United States Secret Service. Shortly after, the CityXGuide website was replaced with a page notifying users the site had been seized.

Martono allegedly netted more than $21 million from the promotion of prostitution and sex trafficking by allowing brothels, pimps, and prostitutes to post hundreds of thousands of ads.
