September 2020The National Center of Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) commended food delivery services that have stepped up to defend human dignity during the COVID-19 crisis. Sex trafficking and domestic abuse soared during the pandemic, but so did food deliveries for victims. Some big-name companies chose to step up and reach out to those suffering. The companies added accessible resources and hotline numbers on their apps to allow easy access for abuse victims.

“We want to celebrate heroes who do what is right, and we want to applaud every milestone that we can in the journey toward a world free from sexual abuse and exploitation,” Dawn Hawkins of NCOSE said.
