September 2020 – For a city saturated in lights, cameras, and sex, Hollywood faces new challenges post-pandemic. With the hopes of movies returning soon, Los Angeles (LA) County is putting severe film and TV production regulations on screenwriters and filmmakers.
LA’s new regulations restrict “any prolonged physical contact,” including both fight and sex scenes. Meanwhile, actors who cannot wear a face covering during a shoot are asked to remain eight feet apart.
