April 2021St. Joseph Cathedral in Columbus, Ohio, annually celebrates a Respect Life Mass to pray for unborn babies on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the 1973 case that legalized abortion in the U.S.

This year, the January 22 worship service was interrupted by anti-life advocates charging into the church, marching in the aisles, waving signs, and shouting slogans such as “Two, four, six, eight; this church teaches hate!”

Police were called to remove the demonstrators. But the hate-motivated activists continued to assault officers and churchgoers outside the church, raising the middle finger and repeatedly using the F-word.

A lifenews.com statement said violence against pro-lifers is increasingly common. The site reported more than 100 reports of assault, vandalism, harassment, and other incidents in 2019.
