April 2021 – Victims of sex trafficking are transported all across America. After learning about the issue, some of America’s finest men and women wanted to do something about it. Thus Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) was formed. TAT raises a “mobile army of transportation professionals” who can recognize and report human trafficking.
“At any given time in the United States, there are more truckers out on the road than there are law enforcement officers,” said executive director Kendis Paris. Paris wants TAT to become “a transient army that can report these situations instead of having them take place under their noses.”
