June 2021TN Fosters Hope, a new campaign led by Gov. Bill Lee’s (R) Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, joins public and private entities together in hopes of finding permanent homes for foster children.

The partnership brings together the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services with two leading private organizations, Tennessee Kids Belong and Show Hope.

TN Fosters Hope will focus on establishing a network of churches to support foster and adoptive needs, recruiting and certifying families to care for foster children, and helping children find permanent homes.

“When we join forces with the faith community and trusted partners like Tennessee Kids Belong and Show Hope, we can help Tennessee foster kids find permanent, loving homes,” Gov. Lee stated. “I am calling on the faith community to join us as we work to build one of the most adoption-friendly states in this country.”
