July-August 2016 – Childhood exposure to pornography has doubled in one generation according to a recent Barna study. The study said 27% of those age 25-30 reported seeing porn before reaching puberty. Porn has also spread its tentacles farther and farther into Christian families and the church.

“Pornography is not relegated to any particular community, socio-economic class, or religion,” said a spokesperson for the National Center on Sexual Exploitation. “Thanks to the Internet, it’s everywhere.”

Barna also reported that 73% of pastors said they feel unprepared to help porn addicts.

“Porn is a plague,” agreed AFA VP Ed Vitagliano. “Fortunately, there is help available. AFA recommends PureLifeMinistries.org.”
