November 2016 – Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, has launched formal collegiate training for future pro-life leaders. As part of the Department of Applied Bioethics, the program currently includes four classes leading to a certificate of completion. It will be further developed to offer a degree.

Scott Klusendorf (photo above) of Life Training Institute teaches some of the courses.

“If you look at the pro-life movement today, it’s led by hardworking, part-time volunteers,” he explained. “To flip the equation, we need equipped pro-lifers who can do this for a living full-time.”
