September 2016 – Gay activist group GLAAD gave Disney, Paramount Pictures, and Warner Bros a “failing” grade on being LGBT-inclusive in their 2015 releases. Lionsgate Entertainment, Universal Pictures, Sony Columbia Pictures, and 20th Century Fox were labeled “adequate.” No company was graded “good.”

The group is pressuring film companies to introduce more positive gay characters into their movies.

“Hollywood’s films lag far behind any other form of media when it comes to portrayals of LGBT characters,” GLAAD CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said.

Media Research Center’s Matt Philbin said a big part of the agenda is to normalize homosexuality to even the youngest children.

“They’re talking about kids’ movies and they’re talking about normalizing homosexuality for children as young as three or four years old,” Philbin said. “What happens on the screen has a huge impact, and that’s why the lefties in Hollywood and radical groups are going to keep pushing and pushing: they understand the power they have.”
