September 2016 – It began in late April, and nearly 1.4 million signatures later, the AFA boycott of Target continues. The boycott was initiated over the retail giant’s dangerous and misguided policy that allows men to use women’s restrooms and dressing rooms.

AFA president Tim Wildmon and Walker Wildmon, assistant to the president, personally delivered the first million petition signatures to the Target headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota (photo above). The two also met with several high-ranking Target officials to explain the concerns that triggered the boycott.

“We are hoping to reach two million signatures by the end of the year, if not before,” said Tim Wildmon. “We encourage all of our supporters to sign the petition and learn more about AFA’s effort at afa.net.”
