December 2017 – A three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Bremerton, Washington, High School football coach Joe Kennedy (left) “took advantage” of his authority as a teacher and coach by praying in public after football games, and that his suspension from his job is justifiable.
