December 2017 – In attempts to deflect attention from the chain’s open bathroom policies, executives at Target, the nation’s second largest retail chain, claim they’re moving toward $15 per hour minimum wages, a 40% increase in holiday hiring, lower prices on thousands of items, and a new line of home goods from HGTV’s Fixer Upper series hosts.

“It seems as though Target is grasping at any straw that will help ease the anxiety of stockholders, regain revenues, and bring shoppers back to stores,” AFA president Tim Wildmon said.

He urges all concerned families to continue to boycott, spread the word to friends and family, call Target headquarters at 612-304-6073, comment on social media, and sign the petition at afa.net/target.

“Men don’t belong in women’s bathrooms and changing rooms,” said Wildmon. “Help us get that message to Target.”
