FBI considering criminal probe of Planned Parenthood organization

December 2017 – The FBI is reviewing recommendations to investigate evidence related to Planned Parenthood’s trade of aborted baby organs and body parts.
In May, leaders of 15 life affirming groups representing millions of Americans wrote a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and then-acting FBI director Andrew McCabe asking for the investigation, based on a deluge of video evidence released by Center for Medical Progress.
The letter said, “The facts uncovered raise a reasonable suspicion that these organizations, and/or individuals employed by them, may have engaged in a conspiracy to violate the fetal tissue law.”
In addition, the Senate Judiciary Committee and the U.S. House Select Panel on Infant Lives both recommended the FBI investigate and possibly file criminal charges against Planned Parenthood after their own 2015 investigations.
