June 2017 –VH1’s tawdry series Dating Naked has been cancelled. AFA’s One Million Moms aggressively called out almost every corporate advertiser, and by the end of the season, more than 90% of them had abandoned the show.
On another campaign, 1MM addressed the sexually charged TV commercials aired by Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. fast food chains in several campaigns over recent years. CKE (parent company of both chains) recently announced the launch of a new advertising direction that will focus on food quality, not provocative, scantily clad models.
