June 2017 – It’s official: As of the April 19 one-year anniversary of AFA’s Target boycott, more than 1.5 million families have committed to the boycott.

“This is really a milestone,” said AFA president Tim Wildmon. “We’re grateful for all who have joined us on this issue. Wildmon delivered the first million signatures to Target
last June.”

On April 19, 2016, Target announced it would be allowing men access to women’s restrooms and changing areas. The very next day, AFA launched the boycott. Meanwhile, Target’s unacceptable corporate policy continues to put women and children
in harm’s way.

Wildmon will soon deliver 500,000 new signatures to Target headquarters. Others are urged to join the campaign by signing the boycott pledge at afa.net/target.
