Above, at PA, students are taught the legislative process, including skills to formulate a bill and build consensus.

June 2017 – This summer, AFA is again a major sponsor of Patriot Academy, an intensive leadership boot camp that trains students ages 16-25 for patriot leadership. Students learn leadership strategies, life purpose plans, media relations, public speaking and advanced communication skills, campaign techniques, and the Founding Fathers’ philosophy of government.

“As an alumnus of Patriot Academy, I can vouch for its impact,” said AFA’s Walker Wildmon. “It helped me prepare to be a better citizen and a culture changer.”

The event is widely acknowledged as the nation’s premier political leadership training, guiding young men and women to effectively lead change in America. For adults over 25, a citizen track takes place during the student academy in Austin, Texas.

Regional academies will be in state capitols in Arizona (June 14-16); Idaho (June 19-21); Florida (June 28-30); and Delaware (July 12-14). The National Academy, a seven-day academy, will be in Austin, Texas (July 30-August 5).

Wildmon urges those interested to go to the website and register, as space is limited.
