June 2018 – Alliance Defending Freedom recently published a letter it had sent to Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. The letter was the result of ADF receiving complaints from school supporters who donated money to Love Saxa, a student group that took a stand for traditional marriage in 2017.
But when supporters received receipts from the school, they learned their money went instead to student organizations such as the LGBTQ Resource Center Reserve.
Love Saxa became unpopular on campus after it outlined its views on marriage and family, views that align with official Catholic doctrine. Fortunately, later reports indicate that donations were redirected to Love Saxa, and the group remains officially recognized on campus.
